to my students and their families,
Welcome to Grady High School!
My name is Carrie Rowe and I have been teaching for 25 years. I taught at Independence High School in Fulton County before coming to Grady in 2013. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 1992 and moved to Atlanta in 1994 when I started teaching at Independence High School. In 2001 I earned a Master’s in Secondary Mathematics Education from Georgia State University.
I love to teach! It is so rewarding when a student “gets it!” However, I hope to teach my students much more than how to factor an equation or how to graph an exponential function. I hope to teach them how to think critically, to problem solve, to work with others, and to become responsible young adults. I want my students to be prepared for whatever they decide to do after high school.
There is a link above to my Google Classroom, but you will have to log in using your child’s log in information in order to access it. If you would like me to add you as a parent/guardian to the classroom, feel free to send me your email address. My email is [email protected].
I look forward to a great year at Grady! Feel free to contact me anytime.
Sincerely,
Ms. Carrie Rowe
